A tennis player collapses in the middle of a match, as well as a boxer in the middle of a fight, a crane operator while holding up a container, and a tuba professor in the middle of a lesson. Dr. Hadley interrupts a math class to take the professor to a hospital.
Dr. Foreman explains that patients who received organ donations later wound up having serious problems that presumably have nothing to do with the transplanted organ. Since cornea transplants are bloodless, Dr. Hadley believes the math professor should be fine.
House tries to find a substitute for Dr. Wilson. Later he admits to Wilson that he hired a private investigator, Lucas Douglas (Michael Weston), to follow him.
