During the celebration of the town's founding, Patterson gloats over being descended from the founder, and makes fun of Marcus for his lack of manliness. But then Dana and Marcus discover evidence that the town founder may have been a hoax, so they set out to expose the historical cover-up. Meanwhile, Silvia, who loves taking part in the town's obsession of reenacting the foundation, sells plastic buffalo figurines (since she knows glass is too fragile for younger kids).
