Chapter 3: Bath
Chito and Yuuri venture through the worst snowstorm yet in hopes of finding shelter to sit it out. Yuuri spouts off poetry about the afterlife and being the only people left on the planet while making a snowman on top of Chito's helmet, much to her annoyance. As the freezing cold creeps into their bodies, they eventually come across an abandoned power plant of the 72nd Surface and search for an entrance. While inside, Yuuri notices that one of the pipes is not covered in snow and is dripping from the inside. The girls figure out that there's still hot water running inside the pipe, so Yuuri takes out her trusty rifle and attempts to shoot a hole into it. Once the piping hot water starts leaking from the bullet hole, they find a half-pipe in good condition and pour the hot water into it, then use it to take a bath, which marks the fourth time they took one since they left their home. Both of them enjoy the bath so much as if they were in "paradise", the afterlife they were discussing before. Starting to get dizzy from the steam, the girls leave their makeshift bath and prepare to sleep through the blizzard.
