Frasier and Niles try to convince their father's wealthy new gal to support their former prep school.
Tropes:
- "Shaggy Dog" Story: After all their efforts to request a donation out of the socialite, including making an impassioned plea for the sake of the school after their father's two-timing is revealed, Frasier and Niles get a check for a donation...of fifty dollars, not even a fraction of what they need. Then they accidentally break one of her vases while leaving her house, and decide to just leave the check to make up for it.
- Two-Timer Date: Martin hits it off with a rich socialite at a fundraising party his kids hold...and the next day, he also hits it off with a different woman. Rather than break up with either one of them, he's convinced he can date both at once without either knowing, but is comically inept to the point that Frasier and Niles have to help to ensure they don't ruin their chances with the socialite.
