No, that's not a Ditzy.

The Troubadours, led by Jamdolin, come to Fraggle Rock to celebrate New Day's Day. Boober is chosen as the unwilling centerpiece of the festivities, where he must give a holiday speech and release a box full of Flutterflies. However, he grapples with his anxiety and attempts to get out of participating in the celebration.

Meanwhile, Doc prepares to deliver a speech wherein she will propose her new bacteria that eat microplastics.

This episode contains examples of:

  • Cutaway Gag: Red proclaims "I love speeches!", and we immediately cut to Doc saying "I hate speeches!"
  • Imagine Spot: When Boober is chosen to give the New Day's Day speech and open the Flutterfly box, he imagines everything that could go wrong, and Mokey's attempts to spin the story in a more positive direction don't help. Boober imagines tripping and falling on his face. Mokey suggests that he fell on a tuft of flowers that lift him back, but Boober imagines that he is allergic to the flowers and starts itching. Mokey insists the audience will interpret the itching as a hot new dance and begin imitating Boober. Wembley bursts in and adds a new detail: that everyone will get radish shakes. Boober imagines drinking his shake to fast, causing him to get full-body hiccups so intense they leave him unable to open the Flutterfly box, ruining New Day's Day for everybody. At this point, Mokey loses her cool and snaps at Boober, telling him to stop always thinking of the worst case scenario before stalking off in a huff.
  • Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Jamdolin is intended to replace Cantus, the leader of the Minstrels in the original series, due to the creators not wanting to recast him after Jim Henson's death. Despite the group being renamed the Troubadours, the other members (Murray, Brio, Brool, and Balsam) are the same.
