Kayla, Oslo, and Pie Tin have been captured by the Gluttons, but a kindly old woman gives them apple pie. Unfortunately, it was Rose Marinade in disguise, and her spiked food makes Kayla and Pie Tin her brainwashed servants. They delight in tormenting the town, but Chase appears.
Rose Marinade has Kayla and Pie Tin fight in her stead, and declares a cooking competition—whoever serves the most noodles over the next three days wins. Kayla and Pie Tin win the first two days easily. Chase creates a giant noodle dragon that frees the people's minds and wins the contest, while Kayla and Pie Tin are un-brainwashed by eating the noodles themselves. Rose Marinade is fed up and challenges Chase herself.
