Yang wakes up in the infirmary and is greeted by Mordred and Kairi. They explain that Arturia planted Avalon inside of her, and it healed all her injuries in less than a day. They sadly say Arturia is dead and they can't figure out how to get Avalon out of her. Yang is happy to see Gilgamesh in another bed. He wears a prosthetic right arm and comments it must be karma for all the times he maimed Mercury. Kairi says their bodies are free of the Black Mud, but Gate of Babylon is still contaminated so he shouldn't use it until they can remove the mud. After Mordred and Kairi leave the room, Gilgamesh expects Yang to dump him because he's lost all his treasures, but she says they still have each other.
Outside, it is revealed that Kairi found Diarmuid's weapons Gae Dearg and Gae Buidhe and used the metal to make two rings that Mordred wears on her right index and middle finger. Kairi says he didn't know Diarmuid was her father, but he had his suspicions. Since Mordred won the Grand Order, Kairi asks about her wish and new title. She says Merlin is already granting her wish, while she'd like her title to be the "Knight of Rebellion", because she always does the opposite of what she is expected and never gives up. He says that suits her. She asks what is his wish, and he says he'd like to go on a mission to find Yang's mother, both so he can get away from the academy, and to thank Yang for helping them find Arturia. They go to a clearing in the forest. Merlin had planted Excalibur in a boulder and put a plaque that reads, "The Holy Sword Excalibur, used by the King of Knights. If thou are truly ready to inherit the title and protect the people of Apocrypha with this blade; one must remove the sword from the stone." Mordred says goodbye to her mother and walks away.
Achilles rides his chariot to the beach with Blake and Medusa. They find the disintegrating corpses of dozens of Grimm, then find Penthesilea with her gauntlets and boots off, sitting down and sticking her feet in the water. She is covered with wounds and is unresponsive, so Achilles worries until Medusa checks her and says she's just sleeping with her eyes open. Medusa carries her and her stuff to the chariot. Blake says she wants to help promote equality between humans and Faunus throughout the entire world. Before, she always ran away whenever she was discouraged, but now she's not going to quit, even if it is impossible. Achilles says even if it is impossible, he'll help her. They are about to kiss, but Medusa interrupts them and says they need to leave before more Grimm show up and they need to go to the infirmary. As they leave, Blake hears something in the bushes, but brushes it off.
A digital directory is set up that lists all the casualties of the invasion. Jaune checks it and is saddened when he learns Gawain is dead. Lancelot walks up wearing white armor with a blue cape, carrying Excalibur Galatine. He says Gawain was a true knight and his sword should be passed to someone worthy. Jaune becomes excited, but Lancelot asks him if he had to choose between Mash and the sword, what would he pick? Jaune chooses Mash without hesitation. Lancelot says he made the right choice, and with some more training, Jaune might one day be able to wield the sword to its true potential. He then says if Jaune had picked the sword, he would have killed him. Jaune laughs and says that was a funny joke, but Lancelot glares at him and makes it clear he was serious. Terrified, Jaune spots Jeanne walking by and runs to her.
Jaune asks Jeanne how she's holding up. She says she's okay, but her Alter is missing, so she probably escaped the kingdom already. Da Vinci and Dr. Roman are recovering. They spot Ruby and Weiss trying to comfort Marie. Jeanne says she offered to fill Astolfo's spot in Team France. Jaune says he should find Edmond Dantes and apologize to him. Since Edmond saved them from Jeanne Alter, he can tolerate them dating. Jeanne says they talked it over and decided to stay just friends. However, Jaune interprets this as Edmond dumping her and angrily says he'll give him a piece of his mind, charging forward while an embarrassed Jeanne tries to stop him.
Weiss asks Marie if she wants her and Ruby to come with her to tell Astolfo's hometown about his death, but she says she'll do it with d'Eon and Sanson. She hugs Ruby and says Astolfo was happy when he was with her. Ruby and Weiss walk away. Weiss comforts her, then asks if she brought Marie into her Reality Marble to see him again. Ruby says Marie declined, saying it was too soon, but Ruby offered to take her whenever she wanted. Ruby says she will take her father into it as soon as she runs into him so that he can see her mother again. Weiss says the exchange program is ending soon, so they will soon go home. Ruby remembers she had a wish because she won the Grand Order and speeds off. Weiss then checks on Okita in the infirmary and finds Nobunaga watching over her. Nobunaga says Okita should make a full recovery, while she will probably get a permanent scar from when Weiss shot through her. Nobu says she loves Okita, but she'll never say it to her face. Besides, actions speak louder than words.
In the infirmary, Karna and Arjuna lie in adjacent beds, watching Pyrrha talk to Mash. Arjuna tells his brother he is lucky to have Pyrrha, as she is strong and beautiful. Karna notices Arjuna looking at Pyrrha with adoration and grumbles that they will never get along. Mash is telling Pyrrha that Guinevere is missing and presumed dead from her injuries, but at least she got her dad back. Mash then says people are amazed because she was able to bend her mini lance during the battle against Dracula even though she wasn't holding Gae Akuno. Pyrrha checked her Class Card and found that she now has Rank E Divinity. Scathach theorized it was because of her constant exposure to divine weapons, but Vlad believes it is because she realized her true potential. Cu Chulainn walks up and says he agrees with Vlad, then holds up her old weapons Milo and Akuno, saying Scathach reforged them and is offering to remake Gae Akuno. Pyrrha thanks him, but says she'll stick with her old weapons for now.
Ren wakes up in the infirmary to find Kiyohime and Tamamo Cat watching over him, but Kiyohime gets jealous of her so she quickly leaves. Tamamo Cat runs into Nora and Fran. Nora says she used her wish to switch teams with Kiyohime. That way, when the exchange program is over, Kiyohime will go to Beacon to stay with Ren while she will stay in Chaldea with Fran. Her new title is the "Queen of the Castle". Moriarty's wish is to take Fran and Nora to a vacation to a tropical island. Nora invites Tamamo Cat to go swimsuit shopping with them and she agrees.
Altera wakes up in the infirmary and finds the other members of Team Extella sleeping near her. She cannot remember anything. Glynda approaches and says Weiss told her Altera's teammates all worked together to save her, which Altera finds hard to believe. Glynda says before they passed out, her teammates decided Altera should be the leader of Team Extella. Glynda hands her a business card and says to give it to Elizabeth when she wakes up. It will help her make a concert in Atlas. Glynda leaves and runs into Ozpin, who sadly tells her that Amber, the Fall Maiden who was in stasis after she was attacked just passed away, so the power of the Fall Maiden passed to a new girl. Ozpin then tells her that Medea is recovering and invited her and Vlad to a vacation with her, her husband, and stepson. Glynda blushes and says she'll think about it, then walks away. Ozpin chuckles and says he probably shouldn't tell James Ironwood about Glynda's new boyfriend, then searches for the headmaster's office.
Archer and Kiritsugu watch as Cinder talks with Neo and Ishtar. Cinder hands Neo a note, then shakes hands with Ishtar. Archer comments at least those two are getting along. Kiritsugu says he still doesn't trust Cinder, but he appreciates what she did. He leaves. Archer talks to Cinder. She says she has to leave and return to her boss. Pity she never learned how to use a Reality Marble. Archer says he's still mad that she had BB killed. He understands that she wasn't Sakura, but she was a person and didn't deserve to die. She asks what he's going to do about it, but he surprises her by kissing her. After a while, they stop and say goodbye, then Cinder gets into a car and drives away. She becomes sad and says she didn't see that coming. Chloe reveals herself in the backseat and says no girl ever sees falling in love with Shirou coming, then moves to the shotgun seat. Surprised, Cinder asks what she is doing here, and she says she's tired of school, so she got permission from Irisviel to come with her. She then hands Cinder an envelope from Iri. Inside is a gold ring with "Wishes can still come true." engraved on the inside. Cinder appreciates the gesture, then says when they meet her boss, she should not comment on her looks, but first they will make a slight detour.
Ishtar and Neo confront Ironwood. Ishtar reveals herself as Rin, Sakura's sister. Angry at how Atlas desecrated Sakura's memory, she demands Atlas turn over its AI and android assets over to Chaldea. If he will not comply, she will kill him and his army with her Noble Phantasm. He can't believe she would have Atlas and Apocrypha go to war, but she says it is her alone, so if he wants to save their lives, he'd better make the right choice. She'll give him time to think about it and walks away. Ironwood angrily mutters he hates this place. Ishtar tells Neo she's still mad she killed BB, but she'll make it up to her because with Cinder gone, Ishtar's her leader now. She just has to think of a team name. She then tells Neo she has a package. Neo runs to her room to find a package from Roman Torchwick. The note says he's laying low for a while, so this is goodbye for now. He heard she has a boyfriend now so he hopes she is happy. In the package is a bowler hat with a red band and she happily puts it on.
Caren examines Kirei while Mercury looks on. Caren says Kirei's arm and leg are crippled and can't be healed. Kirei comments Marcus was deadlier than he thought. Mercury is sorry that happened, then reports Marcus is dead. Kirei then reveals he knew Mercury and Ushiwakamaru were siblings because their mother asked him that if he ever returned to Apocrypha, to make sure he had a better life than under his father. Mercury sadly says he can't even remember his mother, then remembers he has a wish because he won at Grand Order. He wishes that his team be instated in Chaldea as students permanently and their criminal records wiped clean. Kirei says it will be done. Mercury says he doesn't want a title, he wants to become Jack the Ripper and Nursery Rhyme's guardian. Caren says she can arrange that. After Mercury leaves, Caren starts to cry and says she wishes she could heal him, then calls him Dad. Kirei says Amakusa is his worthy successor, so he'll retire, then hugs his daughter.
Mercury runs into Emerald, who is sad because Neo handed her a note saying Cinder left and told them to lead normal lives for now and be happy. Emerald can't believe Cinder left without saying goodbye to them. Neo went to be with Jekyll. Robin Hood walks up and Mercury gets his attention before leaving. Robin compliments Emerald for helping Drake with her mission to the fishing town. She steels herself and asks him on a date. He says yes and they walk away holding hands.
Mercury then runs into Jack, Atalanta, and Ushiwakamaru. Jack has a leg brace and crutches because of her broken leg at Marcus' hands. Jack was worried Mercury was going to leave, but he says he's here to stay. Atalanta reports that Kato Danzo wanted to give Jack a prosthetic leg, which Atalanta doesn't want. Mercury agrees with Atalanta. Jack says she wanted to be like him, which makes him melt, but he says she shouldn't get one until she grows up, or else she'll have to keep replacing it each time she grows. He then hands Ushi a bag full of clothes and says if she's his sister, she'll have to dress more appropriately. He picks up Jack and walks away, saying he'll make her something to eat and he has good news. Confused, Ushi asks what is wrong with her outfit, causing Atalanta to stare at her awkwardly.
In his office, Zhuge Liang berates Dr. Roman and Da Vinci for making Jeanne Alter. He shows them a picture of Serenity and says he won't fire them as long as they fix her poisonous skin problem. They agree and leave. Ozpin walks in and says Chaldea did well, but Zhuge is still upset about having to watch Astolfo die. Ruby walks in and is surprised to see Ozpin. He says he came with the Atlas ships that helped with the invasion. He ran into Iskandar who told him about Ruby's victory in Grand Order, and that she is owed a wish. Iskandar's wish is to set up territory in Vale and help out against the Grimm. Ruby wishes that Apocrypha and Vale forge an alliance so that if another invasion happens, they will help each other, and that Chaldea students will be allowed to compete in the Vytal Festival. It is something Astolfo would have wanted. For her title, she would like to be "Summer Rose". They are confused, so she says she wants people to know her mother's name again, since she was a hero taken before her time. They say that's a wonderful idea.
A month later in Vale, the Vytal Festival takes place and holds its tournament. Pyrrha battles Enkidu and manages to knock him out of bounds. Enkidu congratulates her and wishes her luck, but he'll root for Gilgamesh. In the next round, Pyrrha faces Gilgamesh. With a prosthetic arm, he prepares Gate of Babylon. She smiles as she prepares for battle.
In Mistral is a clothing and shoe store called The Old Glass Shoe. Ella and Landon, the owners, tend to the store when someone knocks. At the door is Cinder and Chloe. Cinder tells her parents she wanted to see them, and they hug.
In Patch, Taiyang Xiao Long receives a crate. Inside is Lobo. There is a note from Ruby, introducing Lobo and saying when she sees him again she has a wonderful surprise. Taiyang tells Lobo he'd better not eat him or their corgi, Zwei. Later, Lobo and Zwei play together.
