In the middle of the night, Cu Chulainn finds Glynda in the staff lounge. He asks why she's still up, and she explains she is typing a report of everything she learned this week to send to Professor Ozpin. She would like to send it as soon as possible, and with the time zone differences, it is still daytime in Vale. He asks what she thought of this week, and she says she dislikes how often her students get sent to the infirmary, but she commends Chaldea's medical advancements. He says her students are improving at an impressive rate, and could even make it into the Grand Order.

He explains the Grand Order is Chaldea's annual tournament, similar to the Vytal Festival. While the Vytal Festival is a bracketed tournament, the Grand Order is a battle royale. Eight students, one from each of the seven standard classes and one from the extra classes, battle in a random environment until one is left standing. Chaldea will hold one in about a month. Students may only compete if they are recommended by a professor or staff member or if they have previously won one. Winners earn extra privileges, a title, and a wish (they get to change or enact a new law). The one who recommended the winner gets a wish too. She asks if he participated before, and he says he did once while he was a student, but he lost against Gilgamesh. He says she could recommend one of the transfer students, but she declines because it would not be impartial. She does have an eye on one of the students she is teaching, and if she improves, she will recommend her. She says she will add the Grand Order to her report. He leaves and wonders if she ever relaxes.

Iskandar, Francis Drake, Li Shuwen, and Taiga Fujimura drink at a pub and are all drunk. Iskandar asks how Drake's training with Neo is going. Drake says he misunderstood, Neo asked to be trained by Medb for some reason. Iskandar is amazed that Medb would be willing to do so, let alone for a female student. Taiga says Medb probably wanted to impress Cu Chulainn, as many professors are mentoring the new students, and the new students are inspiring others to be stronger. Li Shuwen comments that Ren's presence is inspiring Kiyohime to train. Taiga is happy Kiyohime finally moved on from her old boyfriend. She asks how Iskandar's training with Ruby is going. He says she is improving nicely, but something is troubling her, and if he can't help her overcome it, her story will likely end in tragedy. The four decide to go for one last round of beer before going to sleep, but Iskandar notices an empty seat and gets worried. Meanwhile, Zhuge Liang studies holograms of the last meeting.

Edmund Dantes, back in his suit, wanders and grumbles that Cleopatra making him go to the beach was a waste of his time. He notices the church's door is open and sound coming from inside. Curious, he enters and finds Jeanne kneeling at the altar and praying. She opens her eyes and greets him, then looks out the window and is surprised it is already night. He asks what she was praying for. When she hesitates, he says she doesn't have to talk about it if she doesn't want to, but she confides that she was asked to make a choice. It could potentially benefit Chaldea a lot if she goes through with it, but it could also risk hurting a lot of people. She doesn't know what to do. He says it doesn't matter what she picks, what matters is that she follows through with her decision, then tells her to wait and hope. He starts to leave, but she stops him and says she doesn't want to be alone right now.

The next morning, Amakusa walks up to the church and suspects there may be an intruder because the door was left open. He draws his Black Keys and enters, but finds Jeanne and Edmond sitting in a pew and asleep, with her head resting on his shoulder. Amakusa smiles, then takes a picture with his scroll and sends it to Jaune. He walks away, while in his room, Jaune screams when he sees the picture.
