As the sun sets on Drake's ship as it sails across the ocean, Drake tells Robin Hood to keep a look out for any sea dangers while she rests. She tells Emerald to relax and socialize more. Jekyll reminds Emerald of what she promised to do, so she approaches Neo and asks her whether she prefers Jekyll or Mr. Hyde. Neo texts her with "Both", then walks up to Jekyll and makes out with him. The two smile and hold each other.
Nora approaches Emerald and points out they haven't really talked much to each other. They introduce themselves. Emerald points out it is obvious Nora has feelings for Ren. Nora says she can't bring herself to confess to him, as she is scared he will reject her, especially since he keeps hanging out with Kiyohime. Emerald points out she'll never know if she never asks. Nora takes this to heart and leaves to find Ren.
Emerald starts to think Drake was on to something as socializing actually feels good. She decides to take her own advice and approaches Robin. He asks her what she had been doing and she says she had been giving people relationship advice. He says he knows how she feels, as Ren had confided with him that he fell in love at first sight with Kiyohime and was nervous about confessing, until Robin told him to just ask her because he would never know if he never asks. Shocked, Emerald runs away, confusing him.
Nora finds Ren and Kiyohime talking and the two hug, shocking her. Kiyohime spots her out of the corner of her eye, then makes out with Ren. Nora runs away and into one of the rooms. Emerald catches up to her, having witnessed what happened, and says she is sorry. Nora puts her head in Emerald's lap and cries. Outside, Frankenstein listens to her cry and angrily clenches her fists, electricity flowing from her body.
In the infirmary, Caren Hortensia examines Jaune with his shirt off, while Jeanne watches. They'll have to throw his clothes away because the black goop won't wash off. Caren says he is perfectly healthy, which she finds boring because she wanted something interesting to happen like he had been infected by the black goop or something, making him nervous. She then makes fun of him for having low stats; even his Strength is Rank D even though he is fairly buff. Dejected, he asks how he can improve his stats, and she says either through training, or changing his Class.
As they leave, they bump into Edmond Dantes, who is also shirtless and has bandages around his torso from when Mordred impaled him and then he cauterized the wound. He calls Jeanne the "Saint of the Flag" and asks what she is doing there. Jeanne says she was with her brother and introduces them to each other, calling Edmond "The Count of Monte Cristo". She asks what happened to him and examines his injuries, but he says he got it during a combat class and that she doesn't have to worry about him. Jeanne then says that since Mash and Pyrrha went to sleep, they should too. Jaune says he will catch up to her. He angrily confronts Edmond and tells him to stop flirting with his sister. Shocked, he says he was doing no such thing. Jaune accuses him of waiting for Jeanne to come out with his shirt off and acting cool so she could see his injuries and gain sympathy for him. He then asks what is with these nicknames they called each other. Enraged, Edmond calls him a moron: their meeting was just a coincidence, those names are titles they had acquired, and he doesn't act cool, he is cool. Jaune says he's keeping an eye on him, but accidentally backs into a wall before leaving embarrassed. Edmond sighs and walks away.
Ruby and Astolfo return to the school and walk down the hall, her pink dress in a bag. She admits she had fun. He says he can't wait to take a shower so he can organize the clothes he bought. She blushes and not wanting a repeat of their first encounter, says she will shower first and then go to sleep. She runs through the hall at super speed despite him warning her not to do that. She bumps into Archer and bounces off him while he stands there annoyed and carrying a bag. Astolfo says this is lucky because he had wanted to introduce the two. He explains Archer is an expert on weapons, exciting Ruby. Archer says he is in a hurry because he and Cinder are staying at his mother's castle tonight, and Cinder just asked him to retrieve her bag.
Ruby asks him to show her his Noble Phantasm. He remembers she had fought and defeated Cu Chulainn earlier. When she confirms she did drop a locker on him, he says he will apologize to him because he thought he was making that up. Archer says he won't show it now, but tomorrow, he proposes a tag team fight: Ruby and Astolfo vs Archer and Cinder. Ruby gets excited while Astolfo gets nervous. As Archer walks away, he notes Ruby has silver eyes, and wonders what is so significant about that, as he is unfamiliar with the story of the Silver-Eyed Warriors.
Near the forest, the pile of black goop that Jaune fell into suddenly spawns a humanoid Grimm that glares at Chaldea Academy.
