Sergeant Joe Friday and Officer Bill Gannon are working in the Intelligence Division. George Fox is a syndicate man and known extortionist. An electronics business man has complained that George Fox has been moving in on his business and asking for protection money. Fox claims innocence of recent charges for extortion and also an associate's disappearance. George Fox comes in to talk with Gannon and Friday and they interrogate him about the recent charges.
