The Dinotrux build a weather vane so they can tell when bad weather is coming, but things go awry when the vane gets blown off and flies away, taking Revvit, Click-Clack and Waldo with it.
Tropes:
- Action Girl: Xee, a reptool that has been living in a forest by herself and has become extremely well adapted to surviving all the predators in the area as a result. She's so resourceful she can carve spare bolts out of wood!
- Brick Joke: when the reptools initially get lost, Revvit suggests they wait to be rescued, but Click-Clack points out the last time anyone saw them they said they were going for a parts run, so nobody will be missing them. Sure enough, by the time they get back, the others are only just beginning to suspect something might be wrong.
- Sixth Ranger: In the end, Xee decides to try out Revvit's lifestyle and moves into the Garage with the others.
- Tempting Fate: The reptools initially determine that they need to make a parts run to the ravine in order to properly secure the weather vane. A very apt assessment that ignoring leads to the weather vane flying away with them on it.
