Ready to save the world again?
At the end of the last case, the Hunters came across signs that Arthur Darkwood was in trouble, and shortly afterwards were kidnapped by demons. As they look around their cell, they find Arthur in another cell nearly cut in half. As he was under strict orders to let Arthur live until the Demon Queen was ready to kill him, the guard who brought the Hunters sets them out to solve the murder so that he can save his own life by giving the culprit to the Queen himself.Tropes:
- Back for the Dead: Zeke Davis returns, and is killed when he's revealed to be Arthur's killer.
- Evil All Along: Turns out Matthison was a demon too.
- Killed Off for Real: Apparently if a demon is killed in the Netherworld with a demonic weapon, they die permanently, which happens to Zeke during his arrest.
- Pragmatic Villainy: Zeke Davis killed Arthur to steal his blood and prevent the Demon Queen from conquering Earth. This way, he can keep Earth's resources for himself.
- Use Their Own Weapon Against Them: The killer used Arthur's own sword to murder him, as all demon weapons have their own magical signature.
