After a sudden encounter with some Yuan-Ti cultists, Passione is escorted into Hemoarloch by Bloodhunter Champion Colonel Cardiock, who decides to place Calum under protective custody due to the assassination attempt on him. While this, unfortunately, means that he won't be accompanying them for the time being, the party manages to fill the void with a new party member with a knack for stealth and trickery... whose skills will become very useful for both the upcoming raid on the Anvilwrought Mine and studying Calum's extremely suspicious extended family.
