On the heels of tragedy, the Spellmans receive a grim omen. Blackwood seeks vengeance. Sabrina prepares for her final challenge against Caliban.
Tropes in this episode:
- Downer Ending: Sabrina gets trapped in Stone by Caliban, while Zelda gets killed by Blackwood and the pagans successfully sacrifice Harvey to the Green Man.
- Wham Episode: And it is a doozy. Everything goes downhill for the protagonists.
- On Earth, the Pagan gods successfully kidnap Harvey, Roz, Theo and Robin. They kill Robin for being a traitor, and use Harvey as a virgin sacrifice for the Green Man. This sends their plan into action of killing all mortal life on Earth. Roz and Theo are also killed.
- Zelda had earlier killed Hilda after her spider transformation and buried her in the Cain Pit. Afterwards, Zelda was shot by Mary Wardwell who, with the knowledge that witches exist, Jumped Off The Slippery Slope. With Zelda near death, Mambo Marie attempted to heal her, while Ambrose and Prudence stand watch. Father Blackwood and an insane Agatha attack, with Prudence killing Agatha and Father Blackwood killing Prudence. Ambrose escapes. Blackwood kills Mambo off-screen and kills Zelda moments after she wakes up with the solution to their problems.
- Meanwhile in Hell, Caliban tricked Sabrina, again during the last challenge. He encases her, as well as Lucifer and Lilith, in stone and becomes the King of Hell.
