Brenda and Dylan continue to see each other in secret as Jim demanded they break up. Their friends help them, but they are caught at the beach club, and Dylan starts mentally checking out due to how he's continually treated by Jim. Brandon worries he can't meet girls during summer at the beach club as Andrea has gotten a job there and he assumes she'll be jealous. He finds the tables turned on him as Andrea is seeing a college guy, Jay, the former editor of the Blaze, and Brandon is the one who shows signs of jealousy. On a dare from Brandon, Steve tries and fails miserably to be a waiter at the Peach Pit.
