- Foreshadowing:
- Gwen lampshades Ben’s tendency to use Feedback more than any other alien. This will become important in the two-part finale of Season 2.
- When Khyber reveals Malware’s part in creating the Nemetrix, Ben shows horror at the revelation, despite having fought Malware confidently in the past the same way he does his other foes. This hints that something happened to make Ben take Malware seriously as a threat.
- Oh, Crap!: When Ben remarks on how Khyber's Dog is "wearing a cheap Omnitrix wannabe", Khyber reveals that the creation of the Nemetrix was possible thanks to Malware, which leaves Ben horrified.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Even when at Khyber's mercy, Ben can't resist letting the self-proclaimed "Greatest Huntsman in the Galaxy" know how much he sucks at his job.Ben: If you're so great, how come it took you five years to capture me, huh? It took Vilgax like, five minutes!
