Recap / Barry S2E5 -- "ronny/lily"

Returning home, Ronny Proxin, the man currently dating Detective Loach’s former wife, lights up a joint and begins to aimlessly walk around his house. Arriving in his bedroom, Ronny discovers Barry, wearing goggles and an orange ski mask in order to hide his identity. Barry confesses that he was sent to kill Ronny, but does not want to, and instead hopes that Ronny will hide in Chicago, where Barry will send him money. Apparently unfazed, Ronny begins to pack a bag, taking Barry into his living room where a sizable number of taekwondo trophies, awards, and medals reside. While they are talking, Ronny kicks Barry through his closet door, seemingly knocking him unconscious. He then proceeds to light up another joint and begins to dial 911. Barry then attacks Ronny, beginning a brutal fight between the two men, only ending when Barry manages to hit Ronny’s windpipe, causing extensive damage. Ronny then proceeds to acquire nunchucks from his closet, preparing to attack Barry. Audibly wheezing throughout the rest of the encounter, the strain of the nunchucks causes Ronny to eventually collapse on the floor and, seemingly, die. As Barry prepares to leave the house, he takes off his mask. Unfortunately, Ronny’s daughter, Lily, soon returns from her Taekwondo class and sees him without his mask. Noticing the state of Barry and the house she runs to check on her father. Barry attempts to calm her, but she goes feral and viciously attacks him, stabbing him several times in the back.
