Jon Taffer goes to formerly popular The Kasbah Lounge in Aurora, Colorado, now a nightclub that may become extinct for good.
- Face–Heel Turn: At the relaunch, the cook is drunk and belligerent after an entire episode of remaining generally open to Jon's proposed changes. Even worse is how he mentioned earlier he's supporting ten children.
- Insistent Terminology: One of the bartenders says she doesn't like it when multiple servers come up to her at once with orders because she doesn't want them to "menage" her. Cue confused looks.
- Nice Guy: Sheldon is one of those owners whose a nice person, perhaps too nice. He even admits that he kept security guard "Superman" way too long despite the latter's incompetence. He later fires the cook for being drunk at the end of the episode.
