"Shaggy Dog" Story: Subverted. Marinette and Adrien originally sent Nathaniel to find out who becomes the next holders of their miraculous, only to reveal that there was no more holders. They gave back their miraculouses, and after a few fruitless akuma attacks, Hawk Moth stopped attacking. It's when Nathaniel mentions the Bad Future he had experienced do they decide to change that.
