Ash's Pokémon recover from the Weather Trio's visit, Pikachu talking to Charizard about the battle with Paul before introducing Lugia to everyone. Lugia clings to "Uncle" Pikachu amidst so many unfamiliar faces, and when Absol formally greets her, she casually calls her "cousin."
Lusamine learns of the Incursion in Hoenn from Faba, intrigued that a UB-01 Symbiont [Nihilego] had abducted someone, and tells him to prepare countermeasures before he informs her of the UB-02 [Buzzwole] incursion as well.
Lugia chooses to bond with the antisocial Litten, to his chagrin.
Meanwhile, in the Unova region, a mysterious creature attacks Dawn, defeating her Mamoswine with one Head Smash before dragging her screaming from her campsite.
