Chapter 11
As Looker and Anabel arrive in Alola, Looker recalls the report and reflects frustratedly that the trip is likely to be a wild goose chase with no further incursions, while Anabel strokes her Espeon to try to suppress her own fear at facing the creatures that almost killed her.
Ash's newly hatched Lugia glomps him, and while everyone present is stunned at the newly hatched Pokémon, Ash snaps out of it first and leads the way to the Pokémon Center.
In the Hall of Origin, Arceus muses on trying to keep Ash out of this particular cataclysm before she speaks with Yveltal, catching up on the Legendaries who have given Ash their gifts or are planning to, learning that Rayquaza will be presiding over Groudon and Kyogre as they deliver their gifts later that day. Arceus then asks about Yveltal's own gift, and Yveltal, acutely uncomfortable at Arceus's request, affirms that it will be ready within the week.
At the Pokémon Center, Ash's team is restored to full health and his new Lugia is revealed to be female with the Multiscale Ability. The Team Rocket Trio attacks the Center, and Absol leaps into battle before they can finish their motto. Pikachu's pride turns to anger when Jessie's Mimikyu sends Absol flying, and Pikachu quickly defeats them and blasts them off. And immediately, a new problem presents itself when the citizens of Alola panic from the presence of multiple Legendaries on the beach. Paul dryly suspects that they're there for Ash, who can only chuckle.
