Tropes in this chapter:

  • Adaptation Expansion: This chapter expands the Tennouzu conflict into a civil war where half of each student body that sides with Shu and Arisa fight each other.
  • Shout-Out: Shu and Inori's offscreen intercourse is a loose tribute to Yours forever, a Shu/Inori lemon one-shot set in Reclaiming the Throne. Arisa's betrayal and accusing Inori also loosely reminds of Argo's betrayal to Shu and Inori in Reclaiming the Throne's chapter No queens or kings. Only man., only in complete different circumstances (such as Inori (AnGC)'s murder of the students due to being possessed by Mana, and Inori (RtT) after becoming Eve and being mistreated kill an Undertaker that led to Argo's mutiny).
  • Wham Episode: Arisa officially becomes a villain that's more pronounce unlike the canon anime, a civil war of students occur, Gai stealing Shu's power, and Okina dies from Arisa's hands.
