Recap / Akane No Guilty Crown Chapter III

Go To

Shu, Heath, and Akiko are taken to custody by Segai and GHQ. There in Isolation Facility Four, Segai toured them about the histories of the Apocalypse Virus and medical circumstances. Including the fact of why Yahiro sold the three out is due to getting treatments for his infected younger brother, Jun. Segai manipulates Shu of whether Funeral Parlor is trustworthy, that they're planning to free the mass murderer, Kido Kenji. Then, Segai gives Shu a pen transmitter in case he'll be with Gai for GHQ to apprehend the resistance.

Lawyer Mason appears in meeting with Shu, Heath, and Akiko; yeah right, it's Gai in disguise coming to save them and saving Kenji. And thus, the prison break begins. The combatants are evading and fighting off Endlaves on the double. Shu uses Kenji's Void in affecting the gravity, before using Inori's sword Void to slice down Endlaves.

Out of the blue, Heath and Akiko unlock their own Voids that are humanoid shape, and they surprisingly retain consciousness. This turns the tide that their Voids take down more Endlaves before Funeral Parlor makes it out to safety. And so, Heath and Akiko are under watch in heading to Funeral Parlor headquarters, unaware that Shu still has the pen transmitter.
