- TV Tropes was created by Tobias Victor Tropes.
- Exaggerated: Literally every location in the work is named after its founder, as silly as it may be.
- Subverted: Turns out "Teevee Troperville" is actually his pen name, and his real name was Robert.
- Double Subverted: Robert Troper, which makes slightly more sense.
- Enforced: Either the writers couldn't come up with better names for the founders, or simply Rule of Funny.
