- Downplayed: Alice is allergic to desk fans but only for one episode, then it’s never brought up again.
- Justified: Alice lives in an abstract world where this is probably the most normal thing.
- Inverted: Alice is allergic to peanuts.
- Subverted: Alice has an allergic reaction to what she thinks is desk fans but it’s actually just peanuts.
- Double Subverted: It turns out she was right the first time.
- Parodied: Alice is allergic to quite literally everything.
