  • Oh come on, you found it heartwarming when Dae-su comforted Woo-jin after accidentally outing himself to his best friend. He accepts his best friend without any prompting and does what he can to make him feel better. He even offers a spare room in his own house in case it's needed.
  • All of Cheong-san and On-jo's interactions count as this. It's clear they have an incredibly loving relationship, and everyone knows it. From all their firsts to just their domestic shows of affection.
  • Na-yeon and Ji-min finally reuniting in the present. Despite all the anger between them, they still clearly care for one another.
  • Ha-ri's determination to find and rescue Woo-jin. Many times, her thoughts will stray to how badly she wants to find him again. Even when she complains about him, she is clearly so desperate to find him and loves him a lot.
  • The flashback to Ha-ri and Woo-jin learning he was an accidental pregnancy. She comforts him, assuring him that their parents are likely grateful they chose against aborting him, emphasizing how glad she is to have him as her little brother, and snuggling with him, letting him spend the night in her bed.
  • Na-yeon apologizes to Gyeong-su several times throughout the series, and each one is more heartwarming than the last. Especially the one where she admits the first one was forced, as it's when they agree to become official friends. The one on the staircase during the fieldtrip is also a standout, being genuine whereas the first one wasn't.
  • Joon-yeong falls in love with Woo-jin as soon as he meets him at twelve years old, describing how friendly and beautiful he finds him from the very first moments of them meeting. The years pass and he remains absolutely infatuated with him as they remain close friends, until Woo-jin eventually begins to reciprocate.
  • Gyeong-su walking Na-yeon home to their complex after her fight with Ji-min. He clearly doesn't know what to say to her to make it better, but hell if he's not going to be there for her any way he can.
  • Joon-yeong finally kissing Woo-jin, after so much pining on both sides but especially his, having been in love since he was twelve years old. In the present, they're shown to be holding hands.
  • On-jo and Gyeong-su comforting I-sak after she is rejected by Joon-yeong. Gyeong-su tells her about almost kissing Na-yeon and she immediately jumps on the ship, showing she also forgives the other girl for her past behavior. On-jo is especially affectionate towards I-sak, and there's also something to be said about how before the rejection, she refuses to even entertain the possibility of a boy not having feelings for her best friend, especially when On-jo herself was lucky enough to have a boy who is completely infatuated with her.
  • Mi-jin and Na-yeon bonded over their rocky relationships with their parents and feeling like disappointments.
  • Su-hyeok thinking about how relieved he is that Nam-ra is still safe by the time they get to the supply closet.
  • Any time Ms. Park refers to any of the kids as 'her babies'.
  • Cheong-san's dad, Yo Sung's POV of his son's love for On-jo. It's also shown that even before he confesses, Cheong-san did confide in his father about his feelings for her.
  • Ki hyun and So jo coming around to accept their kids' relationship after their initial reactions.
  • Joon-yeong comforting Woo-jin when Ha-ri walks in on them. He genuinely believes that things will be okay, and that even if they aren't, he'll still have him and Dae-su. Then, he eavesdrops on their conversation, only sneaking out when he knows Woo-jin is safe, but still makes sure to leave a note.
  • The childhood stories about when Ha-ri and Woo-jin were babies. From the moment Ha-ri saw her baby brother, she was delighted and babbled happily. The siblings were immediately taken with one another. When their father started to pull her away, they started crying. And later, when they were a bit older, Hari accepted a hug from him despite adamantly refusing hugs and even biting a woman who didn't listen. At first, Woo-jin stayed by Ha-ri's side, wary of the adults, and then when he was being passed around, Ha-ri watched over him for any signs of discomfort.
  • Ha-ri, though clearly surprised, immediately accepts him dating a boy and begins coming up for contingency plans in case their parents find out. She also does her best to comfort him after accidentally giving him the impression that she was homophobic. They eventually fall asleep against one another.
  • Mi-jin asking out Ha-ri after they both vent about their less-than-ideal family lives, both offering support to one another.
  • Min-jae assuring Ji-min that despite the bad things she's done in the past, she's still deserving of friends.
  • Min-jae and Ha-ri's friendship. He's loyal to her, even against the judgement of their other teammates and he makes her stressful life a lot easier to manage. They support each other through parental issues and coming out to one another.
  • Ha-ri and Woo-jin finally reuniting.
  • Woo-jin comforting Ji-min when he finds her crying.
