Chapter 1:

  • When Powder is in the middle of a mental breakdown what happened at the end of Act One of Arcane, Angela takes the time to comfort her before taking her in instead of simply throwing her out to the streets of the City and leaving her to fend for herself.

Chapter 2:

  • When Powder first wakes up, she sees that Angela has been nearby, watching over her in case something happened.

  • Angela taking the time to make Powder breakfast is absolutely touching and shows she has much more of an heart than she wants to let on.

  • What is the first thing Powder's says after Angela tells her about her very long and tortured time at L Corp.? "I'm sorry." Angela is very thrown off at being shown empathy for quite possibly for the first time in her life.

From The Mind, To The Heart:

  • After confesses Powder confesses to her about her Dark and Troubled Past and is crying her eyes off, Angela simply lets Powder cling to her for comfort despite earlier stating that she really cherishes her personal space.

  • In order to help Powder feel better after the whole situation with Burrowing Heaven, Angela presents a whole room for tinkering, something that Powder hasn't done since what happened a year ago. Angela even allows Powder to hug the life out of her!

The Door To Greatness:

  • Angela making Powder the Patron Librarian of Psychology, even going out of her way to create the Floor of Psychology which has no counterpart from L Corp. This is a clear sign of how much Powder being with her means to her and wanted to show her gratitude for being in her life up to this point.
Angela: Consider this a celebration of you as well. Now, allow me to explain before you devolve into confusion: It has, indeed, been almost seven years since you first arrived here by accident. Your arrival was unexpected, and we went through plenty of ups and down throughout our long wait, but it is during this long wait that I realized that the time we spent together had been part of why this wait was more bearable than the one I endured in the Corporation. You've endured much with me as well, Powder, much that you didn't need to endure, and shouldn't have, really. I don't wish to deceive you, so I'll confess I don't really know what will happen moving forward, but before we reach that pivotal part of our future, I wanted to reward your kindness here. For all we may argue and snap towards one another, I genuinely believe it made our wait much more bearable.
    • Powder's gratefulness towards Angela for granting her this position is also very touching. After what happened seven years ago, it's clear that having someone put so much faith in her even after knowing her Tragic Mistake means the absolute world to her.

The Silence In The Tear:

  • Even though it's for clearly nefarious purposes, Iori going out of her way to take in Roland after he's hit rock bottom.
  • Roland's last words to Iori before entering the Library: despite stating that she's a garbage person, he clearly appreciated the time they spent together over the previous seven years and genuinely hopes that she finds peace for herself one day.

New Problems From Old Faces:

  • Powder gifting Suho, her first assistant, with a set of goggles she made herself.

Chapter 5:

  • When Powder is having a panic attack upon returning to her home so suddenly, Angela is able to guide her into calming down like they practiced before assuring her that it's okay to feel like she's feeling and that she won't be alone in dealing with her issues, with all of the Patron Librarians and Assistants agreeing with her.
Powder: ...Yeah. I'm not, am I?
