• Luz flying into a gale in order to rescue Basilisk Number 3, who was forced to spy on the rebels.
• Alador choosing to side with his kids over Odalia, even initially wanting to stay behind and sabotage the factory before Amity convinces him to come with them.
• Masha discovers that Vee isn't human... and is perfectly fine with it. In fact, they like Vee even more in her true form.
• In this AU, Flapjack bonds with Hunter when he's trying to save Luz from the Goliath Ash Moth.
• The blessing in Eda taking the form of a Cherub Luz riding the Owl Beast, who seems to adore the girl.
• Steve broke the bond with his Palisman Pebbles to save him when he joined the Emperor's Coven, and is happy to see Pebbles make a new bond with Matt.
• Mason/Talis finally freeing his mother Luna from petrification and reuniting with her.
• Barcus revealing his own past to Boscha so she can get out of her funk and realize that she can do better.
• Silver petting Flapjack brings a mental image that just warms the heart.
• Even though the Titan Trappers want to kill King, he doesn't want to hurt the children whose only crime was growing up in a toxic environment.
• Even though it clearly pushes her to her limits, Luz manages to restore several lost or damaged limbs, including one of a little girl.
• Learning what Belos and Adrian were planning to do to the Emerald Entrails is the last straw needed to get Osran to make a full Heel–Face Turn and join the CATTs.
• Once Luz destroys Cassiopeia's heart to free her from the Archivist curse and allow her to rejoin her mate, her spirit briefly possesses Luz so she can finally give her son a hug.
• Alador finally reuniting with parents and finding out the truth of Odalia's lies.
• Luz manages to save the Palismen spirits by absorbing them, which also keeps Belos from immediately trying to kill Lucy because Luz might not recover in time for the Day of Unity.
• Gus reassuring both Lucy and Hunter after running into them at Glandus.
• Steve's mother making sure that Lucy gets enough food after a lifetime of being malnourished thanks to Belos.
• The other basilisks besides Vee and Treble (save Subject Zero), getting their own names instead of just numbers.
• The spirits of the Palismen in Luz's mind giving her a much-needed pep talk, and helping Luz fight against Belos's control of her body.
