- The original title sequence concluded with a little girl being returned to her mother's arms after firefighters had rescued her from being trapped between two walls.
- The eight-year-old girl who repeatedly called 999 when her mother was paralysed by electric shock. That episode had been about children making false 999 calls; her call was given a low priority because it was from a child. She was presented with a medal for bravery.
