• Chapter 16: After the disturbing events in Akira's Palace, with the Phantom Thieves meeting their cognitive selves and realising just how badly they screwed up, Morgana returns to Leblanc and convinces Akira to let him in to his bedroom, not for the sake of Phantom Thief reconnaissance, but because he knows that Akira needs someone right now and that he has a lot to apologise for, even if he has no way of making Akira understand him..
  Morgana: I'm sorry, Akira. About everything. I'm sorry I couldn't see how much you were hurting… and I'm sorry I ignored it when I finally did. I don't think you should be alone anymore. And I don't want you to be.
  • Morgana then forces Akira to go to bed rather than pull an all-nighter studying, and curls up beside him after he does. "For Akira, it's the first night in a whole month that his dreams haven't been plagued by nightmares."
