Heartwarming / I Survived

• Basically every episode ending, where it's established that the person not only survived, (obviously, as they're narrating the story)but so did other people involved in the story, and in the case of crime victims, often that the perpetrators where convicted. In particular, Jonathan's story, in which he frequently mentioned that his dog Portia was starving along with him. While it's obvious that he survived, either he or the producers realized that viewers would be just as worried about her. Hence, one of the footnotes of his segment made it clear:
  "Jon's dog Portia also survived."
