  • At the end of 'Do I Hear $1?', Grant, Ally and Raph compete over 3000 dollars, going to the person who does the craziest thing to a bunch of crickets. Rather than engage in another bidding war, Grant offers to just wave at the crickets, and if the other players don't challenge him, he'll share the money. Ally and Raph agree, and even Sam congratulates them on having beaten him in his own game.
  • The episode "Don't Cry" turns out to be a trap for contestant Jess Ross, who was unable to have her wedding to her longtime fiancee Kait due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. The episode slowly turns out to be a long series of positive and loving affirmations to Jess from her family and friends, all citing her as a wonderful human being and a ray of sunshine in all of their lives, culminating in an on-set wedding between Jess and Kait officiated by none other than Bob the Drag Queen of Drag Race fame. Jess, naturally, is declared the "loser" of the episode, having lost all of her points due to being completely incapable of turning off the waterworks. At the very end of the episode, Rehka is declared the "winner" and immediately gives the prize up to Jess: a honeymoon trip for Jess and Kait paid for by the company.
  • In "The Bachelor", Grant repeatedly agonizes over having to send home contestants, complaining that they are all nice and he doesn't want to disappoint any of them. At the end of the show, Grant is left to chose between two contestants. He asks to talk with Sam backstage, and when they come back out, Sam announces that, since Grant couldn't chose, the promised vacation for two is now a vacation for three.
  • In 'Name A Number', at one point, Becca's challenge is to add a bunch of her friends to a group chat and tell them she needs over $3400 dollars. Of the responses we see, most assume she was hacked and Ash Minnick tells the person they assume stole Becca's phone that there will be consequences. Later in the episode, Becca has to get fifteen sincere compliments from Sam, Izzy and Erika, who come up with some really nice and genuine things to say about her.
  • 'Sam Says 2':
    • The episode includes the prompt "Show some real vulnerability." Jacob goes first, but his mouth is immediately censored, since whatever he is saying is apparently "TOO VULNERABLE FOR TV." Within seconds, Ally and Zac go to hug and comfort Jacob, who easily wins the round.
    • The last prompt, "Sam says go", sees Zac running off down the street, Jacob driving home, and Ally flying to New York, implying that they each went their own way. The 'Cut For Time' episode, however, shows Zac picking up Ally and the two of them meeting back up with Jacob. The three grab take-out (paid for by Sam) before dropping Ally at the airport. When Sam video-calls and points out the lack of competitiveness, Ally says the three of them are best friends.
  • In 'Battle Royale' part 4, Sam's mom appears as a guest judge who the contestants have to charm. Jacob Wysocki spends his first minute talking about how all the ways Sam has helped him, including paying Jacob's rent for several months, and thanks her for raising him so well. This causes both Jacob and Sam to tear up.
  • 'Second Place':
    • Despite losing a chance to own a 2nd-edition volume of The Lord of the Rings, when Oscar says "I have never seen or read Lord of the Rings, and I'm gonna start today" - the knowledge that they'd still be appreciated by their owner was enough to calm Brennan down.
    • One of the prompts is for each of the contestants to compliment Sam, with Brennan and Oscar both giving very heartfelt and sincere compliments.
    • While Brennan's last monologue quickly devolves into criticising Sam, the first part is really sweet: he says that coming in first, second or anything else doesn't matter, what matters is that you gave it your best effort, and if you do that, that's all anyone can really ask for and you shouldn't be upset. He also says that Ally and Oscar should be the ones celebrated, since they both came in first.
  • 'The Newlywebs':
    • All the interactions between Sam and his wife, Elaine. In the behind-the-scenes for the episode, they reveal they've been married for twenty years.
  • 'Sam Says 3'
    • Henry, the pig in a little cowboy hat, whose tail wags when he's happy.
Sam: It's goin' like a helicopter!
    • While the contestants aren't initially allowed to look at Henry, the Behind the Scenes reveals that Sam did eventually allow the players to look at and interact with him, though it was cut for time.
    Sam:: I'm not a monster!
  • 'Bingo':
    • One of Brennan's first challenges was to list five things that he likes about Mike Trapp. Brennan's problem was narrowing it down to only five. He deeply respects Trapp as a comedian and adores him as a person.
      • Brennan notes the real challenge is finding things he only likes about Trapp, as there are many things he loves about Trapp. When they cut to Trapp in the green room, he's clearly touched by Brennan's words.
      • Brennan's first note was that he owes his job to Trapp, as he was initially hired to work on Um, Actually
    • At the end, when the full truth of the episode was revealed, Brennan absolutely bluescreened. Raph took a moment to comfort him, and Sam asked him if he was okay.
  • 'Beat the Buzzer'
    • All three contestants team up to complete the last buzzer puzzle together, a flat-pack "Gamekea" buzzer they have to assemble, since it's clear that the last point won't change anything.
