Heartwarming / Confetti

• Sam's father Dave has been kept away from the wedding by her meddling mother, but when Matt returns after the argument, he brings Dave along to give Sam away at the wedding.
• After Isabelle storms out of the meeting with the planners after their lack of guests is brought up, Josef tells Heron & Hough that she is upset because her relatives are from Canada and cannot afford to attend, not in his usually brash manner, but quite softly.
• Josef singing "Isabelle" after a particularly bad argument.
• Michael and Joanna ignoring Vivienne's warnings about appearing naked by shedding their clothes and delivering some very poetic vows to each other.
• Heron & Hough, probably the most consistently nice characters in the film, after spending their careers focusing on other peoples marriages, decide to get married themselves. Made particularly sweet by Archie's incredibly awkward proposal.
• The look on Matt's face when Sam comes out on stage after her bridal makeover at the beginning of the movie.
