  • Why did the GMC tribunal let Adam off so easily after his speech?

  • The whole reason Adam was in front of a tribunal was that Tracy had made a complaint. Based on episode 5, she would have mentioned a lot of issues in said complaint - ranging from clinical performance issues, dishonesty to a patient, general recklessness. The speech Adam made didn't address any of those issues or show that he had insight about his own behaviour and the issues Tracy mentioned or mention any mitigating factors (the ones he mentioned could apply to any junior doctor, so there's no reason to treat him leniently because of it). So why didn't he face any kind of disciplinary action at all?
