Headscratchers / The Secret of the Magic Gourd

  • Why does Miss Liu allow her students to mock Wang Bao by saying that he loves fishing but never catches anything and finds it amusing? Just like teachers shouldn't laugh at the expense of their students, this seems a bit out of character considering she is shown to be well-meaning later on.
  • What really happened with that fat kid who messed with Wang Bao's robotic dog? He was in the group whose bridge project Wang Bao accidentally broke earlier in the film, and that's why he warns him to not break it again when he later checks it. In the later scene, this kid pokes at the dog and causes it to jump from the table and get broken, but he then apologizes to Wang Bao. But why is he apologizing if it's apparent that he did it on purpose? Was his apology genuine or was a sarcastic way to get back at Wang Bao for breaking his team's bridge earlier?
  • When Wang Bao is sent inside in The Swamp Dino Strikes Back, Bao Hulu comes to his rescue and kills the dinosaur to save him, but by doing so, didn't he change the movie the audience was seeing? In fact, there was no boy and a magic gourd with a plane in the original film and whichever the film's story was, it was utterly altered when Bao Hulu put Wang Bao inside, so is this audience gonna be surprised when they hear other people claiming to have seen a much different movie?
  • When Miss Liu concludes that Wang Bao stole Susie's exam, why doesn't she or Susie suspect of something strange is going on, given that Wang Bao never took Susie's paper from her? Of course, Bao Hulu did that by passing the numbers and letters from Susie's paper to Wang Bao's, but Miss Liu and Susie don't know that. Isn’t it kinda strange that Wang Bao "magically" swapped Susie's paper with his own?
