  • Um, he's a corrupt autocrat, so it is likely he makes his fortune through graft, straight-up kleptocratic theft, and underground illicit activities.
  • Most likely, Aladeen was maintaining full control of the oil reserves meaning that oil was being drilled and produced, just that Aladeen (as opposed to Exxon, BP etc) got all the wealth.
