Headscratchers / Shivers (1975)

• How did Mr. Tudor get infected? We see him enter Dr. Hobbes' apartment, flump back against the wall and then run out and go to work where his secretary sees blood coming from his mouth. We never saw a parasite enter him so how did he get infected?
  • He had sex with Patient Zero before the events of the film.
• Why does Rollo Linsky go into the Tudor's apartment looking for Nick? He has to have been there before, right? Why would he just go to a random apartment instead of Roger's office? Or use the PA at the front desk to page him?
• Why do Roger and Nurse Forsythe immediately give up trying to escape by ramming the garage door after the infected person t-bones their car into a wall? Their car is obviously totaled beyond repair but the other car looks perfectly fine, save for a smashed and bloodied windshield. You might argue that it was the only door leading out which is now blocked but I would think a parking garage of that size would have more than one exit a vehicle could be driven out of as per fire code regulations ( and at the end several cars are seen driving out from around a turn) and they could still put their busted vehicle in neutral, roll it out of the way, pull the dead guy out of the car and try again, so why didn't they do it? If I was in an apartment complex that had a virus going through it that could turn me into a violent sex maniac, potentially getting charged with motor vehicle theft would be the least of my concerns.
