  • In the third season premiere, "Homo Cantus," the girls of Coven Sekhmet (the Bellweather unit) are in hiding with draft-dodgers, but still have their normal appearances because Abigail is against them using Spree workings to change their appearances. Which, fair enough, but there are far more conventional methods of changing one's appearance, such as hair dyes and hair styles, wigs, face markings, altered clothing, etc. Is Abigail opposed to this too? Or did they / the writers simply not think of this?
    • Almost certainly it's the same reason characters rarely continue wearing face-covering helmets even in situations where that would be near-suicidal, or why even in situations where characters DID use disguise magic to sneak past a perimeter, they immediately remove the disguise even though it would still be useful. These are the actors and characters the audience wants to see, so the show runners want them to be recognisable.
