Headscratchers / Infinity Train: Seeker of Crocus

  • As of the latest chapters at the time of this writing, Goh's seriously considering moving out of his parents' house after learning of them lying to him regarding Chloe wanting to see him when they were younger. Assuming his plan is to become a Pokémon Trainer, how's he supposed to get out of Vermillion City if he promised to head to school for tests?
  • Why wasn't Sarah suspended/expelled the instant she claimed that she wouldn't care if Chloe outright died? Even without a Chloe sympathizer like Mr. Bradbury calling her out, a student claiming their classmate's potential death doesn't bother them should be enough of a reason to get them out of school.
  • How is Talia supposed to run the Cerise Institute while her husband's stuck on the Infinity Train? It's a lab, which are run by Pokémon Professors, which she's not; she's just an illustrator.
  • How, exactly, does one correlate Ghost Pokémon with the horror genre? And not even stuff like ghost stories and the like, but the gory, psychological, nightmarish horrors of things like Silent Hill.
  • Hannah and Daiki claim that Goh's classmates hate him because nobody has delivered his homework since Chloe left. Two things: how are both ideas connected, and why didn't somebody else get assigned to deliver the homework after Chloe failed to show up repeatedly?
  • It's repeatedly mentioned that Goh doesn't care for school, and a good deal of the Vermillion City school students are the same. If that's the case, then why aren't they homeschooled?
  • How was Chloe not able to have dinner with her mother if Goh didn't come home to do his homework? It was already established multiple times that Chloe only had to give Goh his homework, but he was never obligated to stick by her to do it.
