- If Nadia is the mastermind behind the bombings, then why is she about to blow herself up at the beginning of the series, instead of using a pawn, and do the terrorist have numerous engineers? For that matter, how many devices did she build before her arrest, given that she's captured before most of the bombings come into the story? Also, how could the villains wire up Budd's vest so effectively without Nadia and her engineering expertise?
- Nadia is a zealot and wanted to die a martyr. I believe in the final episode she admits that she got cold feet, but before that, it was something she wanted to do, not something she was pushed into doing by another. And presumably she gave instructions on how to use and arm the complicated devices she created before going on her own mission.
- What was the point of attacking David's children's school, and why would Nadia do something not just evil (we know she has no compunction about that), but also so needlessly complicated? Just For the Evulz? If so, wouldn't there have been a much easier way to do it, and doesn't that blatantly come across as Idiot Ball because Budd, while he may be completely wrong about Nadia, also saved her life and is one of the main contributors to the perspective that Nadia is innocent? So it makes the most sense to keep him onside. Why would anyone listen to her when they could have blown up a much more serious target with those resources?
