  • Navier adores Queen, Heinrey's messenger bird. She talks to him, feeds him, and even snuggles and kisses his forehead. She has no idea that Queen is actually Heinrey himself, who is increasing abashed by Navier's doting.
    • She finally finds out the truth after she goes to the Western Kingdom, and in the most embarrassing way possible: she catches Heinrey transforming back to a human, while he's butt-naked. Not only is she angry at him for keeping something like that a secret, but she's also can't stop thinking about his body and cringe at her prior actions.
  • During Rashta's baby shower, Navier presents her with a jewel-encrusted sword, telling Rashta that she wants that baby to be like that sword. Rashta thinks it's a wonderful gesture, until Ergy points out that the sword is a decoration that can't be used like a real sword.
    • Rashta later tries to regift the sword to Navier, but it doesn't work the same since Navier's child will be a legitimate heir to the throne, so it actually looks like a thoughtful gesture on Rashta's part, confusing everyone and just confirming to Navier that Rashta didn't understand the insult the first time.
  • Kosair meeting Heinrey for the first time. The latter instantly calls the former “brother”, confusing the heck out of Kosair since he had no clue Navier and Heinrey have a relationship together. They do end up getting along, mostly because Heinrey respects Navier so much that siscon Kosair can’t find any real faults.
  • The divorce-slash-remarriage scene has its moments, from Navier commenting how Rashta’s peppy dress doesn’t match the mood at all, to the look of dumb shock everyone has when Heinrey enters the room, to High Priest Vimrey’s bickering with Heinrey over coming to his wedding.
  • Dame Mastas is a Blood Knight who only knows how to fight and act like a man. She ends up becoming Navier's lady-in-waiting because she wants to be treated like a girl for once. This results in her fumbling her way through pouring tea or holding back from attacking a rival lady-in-waiting with her spear (that she still carries around).
  • Rashta's wedding dress is comically horrendous. It's decorated with so many jewels, trinkets, and sparkly things that she looks like a white Christmas tree. Sovieshu has to order her to remove all of her accessories to be seen in public with her afterwards.
  • Navier wants to get to know Heinrey better, since she wants to figure out whether their future child will be more like her or Heinrey, and so she goes to McKenna for help. He shows her hand-drawn pictures of little Heinrey, pouting as he poses. His mother made Heinrey pose for pictures as punishment whenever he did something bad. Judging by the amount of pictures McKenna has, it was often.
    • Heinrey then catches the two looking through the pictures. McKenna successfully flees, but Navier isn't able to, much to her dismay.
  • Sovieshu's heartbreak after divorcing Navier is mostly sad, but there are moments where he does some strange things to cope, like beating on himself like a gorilla, or buying a picture of him and Navier before the divorce and hanging it on his office walls.
  • Navier asks everyone what she should get Heinrey for his birthday. Notable suggestions include racy underwear for him (suggested by Nianne out of "personal experience"); having a chef make food for him and say it was made by her (which is what her mother does for her father without him knowing); spend time with Heinrey (which Navier knows means bathing with him); and to perform a "happy dance" Heinrey said only his ideal bride would be able to do with him (he said this when he was 6 years old to McKenna). Out of all the suggestions, Navier actually likes Nianne's idea the best, even if she's too embarrassed to admit it out loud.
    • What does Heinrey want for his birthday? The Fairy's Tear gemstone that Sovieshu previously gave to Navier. Which Heinrey then proceeds to wear during his birthday banquet in front of the Eastern Empire's envoys with a smug look on his face. Navier does admit it's a good gift for him, since he loves collecting gems, but isn't exactly thrilled by his intentions.
