- After Raph rescues Karen from Man-Bat the first time and brings her back to the turtles' secret hideout in Metropolis (an abandoned subway station), Donnie wants to erase Karen's memory with a mind-wiping device that he has. But Raph, Leo and Mikey are against, reminding Donnie of what happened the last time he used it (he accidentally made a random man back in NYC think he was a chicken).
- Donnie tries defending his invention by claiming he's worked out the kinks at this point—but then he accidentally sets it off on a stray cat, causing said cat to think it's a dog (it even starts barking like a dog before running away). After seeing this, Donnie then claims, "I've worked out some of the kinks." Leo smacks the device out of Donnie's hands to prevent him from using it.
- Part of the reason Mikey didn't want Donnie to erase Karen's memory is because he has a lot of fan questions to ask her note . However, it's become obvious to Raph, Leo and Donnie that Mikey's got a crush on Green Lantern, so...Donnie (clearly unamused): Let me guess, all of [your fan questions] have to do with Green Lantern?Leo (in a mocking tone): Like, "Is Green Lantern single"
- Embarrassed by this, Mikey looks the list he made and, indeed, the first question on the list was "Is Green Lantern single?"
- Donnie's username is "BootyyyShaker9000" (with three y's in "Booty").
- After saving Bumblebee from Man-Bat in an abandoned construction site, Donnie and Barbara (in her Batgirl-outfit) realize who the other is, everyone laughs at hearing Donnie's username. Donnie exclaims, "I will not be shamed for my love of dancing!"
