- Junji Ito used the same style of artwork he used for his horror Manga in... a harmless comic about owning cats. Hilarity Ensues - as you can see in the picture.
- One of the cats messed on the floor - and Junji sticks his hand in it. His facial expression is hilarious.
- The way Junji draws his wife playing with a cat toy looks like she broke her arm swinging it around.
- J-kun's depiction, being as obsessive and frequently as grotesque as many of Ito's afflicted and horrific characters. A-ko is also drawn like some of his spooky women, a depiction Ito's wife was none too pleased with.
- When J-kun is bothered by his cats sleeping in the spokes of his office chair and worried about running them over with the wheels, he notes that Yon already looks like he's been run over the way he's sleeping.
