Funny / Hairspray (1988)

• When Tracy says on live TV in The '60s that if she were president, "I'd make every day Negro Day!"
• This one line from Edna:
  Edna: Could you turn that racket down?! I'm trying to IRON in here!
• The scene where Prudy tries to follow Tracy, Link, and Penny is a laugh riot because she freaks out as soon as she realizes she's in the Black community part of the city. She thinks they're all out to get her, and freaks out after finding a police officer, only to find out he's Black too!
• When Tracy, Penny, and Link arrive at Motor Mouth Mabel's shop, Nadine, who competed against both of them for the open spot on the Council sees them and storms off.
• When Prudy finally comes to take her daughter away, Motormouth even knows that Prudy is totally paranoid.
  Maybelle: Oh papa toony, we've got a loony!
• Tracy making out with Link in the alleyway, and right as she comments on how perfect the moment is, she has to kick a rat off her shoes.
• Edna tries to get Tracy to calm down when she starts loudly protesting for integration. As Edna's trying to placate Tracy, Velma goes up to her and says "Can I ask you a personal question" which causes Edna to bluntly respond "No you can't!" in a way that screams "Do you not see I'm busy right now?!"
• Another funny bit when Tracy is at the reformatory. While watching the news, after Link is mentioned and shows up on screen, she's making funny faces, licking, and kissing the TV screen, complete with showing her looking through the inside of the TV! She gasps in horror after Amber shows up on screen, recoiling in disgust.
