- Aperio's sense of time. She spent almost 2000 years in her Void without even noticing it.
- Aperio musing about her strange "Ward-breaking" power is hilarious, especially in hindsight. She doesn't have any particular power to break wards; the mana she gives off is just so immense that they shatter when she comes close
- Aperio's obsession with the trees that somehow managed to harm her. She kept trying to hurt herself with various substances, including sharp rocks and metal, with no success, yet somehow a tree managed to hurt her.
- Aperio's increasingly unrealistic assertions that she isn't a Goddess.
