• The Arachnophobe mode gives the spiders hats. On Christmas, they become little Santa hats.
• Sometimes, if you have a powerful enough force to begin with, a new enemy may be killed within seconds of its introduction, resulting in the hilarious occurrence of the narrator poetically describing just how dangerous and terrifying the new creature is... as it lies dead and becomes a hearty meal for your ants.
• The two scientists often have plenty of hilarious dialogue, with mostly the serious, business-like woman trying to stick to the plan and study the research subjects systematically, while the man is all For Science! and acts like an excited toddler who can't wait to play with his new toy.
• The male scientist hums a little song when you drop whip spiders into the formicarium. ^note  Incy-whippy spiders, running to the queen. They all want to bite her, it's really quite obscene.
• Despite the effort of the team to hide the contents of 5th set of missions, Liam accidentally let people see the focal ant species and large enemies during his stream. Man of the Antz made a video to make fun of him.
