Fridge Brilliance

  • Throughout the game, more is learned Ruben's poisoning, including how he had to have been poisoned at the first night's dinner party, how he was poisoned through physical contact through the culprit's ring with a secret compartment, and how fast-acting the poison was on Ruben. Additionally, Ruben develops a rash on his left hand. Looking back at the cutscene where Ruben gets poisoned, you can pinpoint the exact moment Ruben gets in contact with the poison less than a minute away from Ruben experiencing its side-effects: right when Margot touches Ruben's left hand.
  • There's only one time where the culprit openly wears the poison ring, if you look closely on Margot's left hand when all the guests arrive on Isla Esperanza at the very beginning of the game, Margot is clearly wearing the same poison ring she would use later, albeit with her right hand (she likely swapped the ring to her right hand because she was sitting to the left of Ruben).
  • Why does Janet clarify that she's not blackmailing Carla when she confronts her on snooping in the study? Because Janet's being blackmailed herself by Portia and knows how bad it is to be blackmailed; therefore, she doesn't want Carla to feel the same.
  • When Carla and Portia walk across the wooden bridge in the jungle to get the Miraculus flower for Ruben, Portia almost falls through a gap of the bridge. Later, Q says he fell through a rotten plank while walking on the jungle bridge. It's likely that the gap Portia almost fell through was made by Q when he fell through the bridge.
  • Why did the culprit activate Haven's security alarm the first time they broke into Haven? Not only to incriminate Mrs. Bird who was knocked out, but also to attract Ruben and Carla's attention to get them down to Haven to hear potentially crucial information between them via the wiretaps the culprit put in Haven.
  • Why does Janet react badly to when she and Jax finds Carla eavesdropping on them arguing with each other? Not only because it's rude, but because Portia had also eavesdropped on Janet before and blackmailed her based on what she heard.
    • And as Memory Story Portia's Scheme shows, Carla had eavesdropped on Janet in the same room as Portia did, making Janet's reaction worse.
