• Why the plot of sending the Potentials into the Hellmouth before Willow finished her spell? Hell, before she started her spell? The spell depended on channeling the power of the Hellmouth through the Scythe, and that could only be accomplished if it was open. Sending the Potentials in was necessary because a forward defense is strategically better than a fighting retreat. If only they'd taken the ten seconds to say that and the three weeks of random history to learn it.
• Why are all the Turok-Han so easy to defeat? They've been trapped under the Hellmouth for thousands of years, never having fed. The TH who escaped were tough because they'd found victims to strengthen themselves. Boom. Lawyered.
