Being a series with many characters, many characters were intentionally written to be these.
The adults
- Vincent Woodrow and Joseph Canadendrum are these. They're both beavers with several illegitimate children, and had a daughter with Alice Ann Amour, but they couldn't be any more different. They were also forced into an Arranged Marriage.
- Vincent refuses to care for any of his illegitimate children and kills himself before paying child support for his last one. He only married Alice because he got her pregnant. Vincent is also speciesist against chimeras despite having relationships and children with animals of different species.
- Joseph, however, accepts all his children into the family. His marriage to Parla was only because both animals are beavers.
The children
- Robby and Beatrice Neruda are these. Both are twins but only have appearance and family in common.
- Robby is a optimist who wears green and has a noticeable Southern accent. He's interested in athletic endeavors like hockey and climbing fountains, and is generally easy going with others no matter the species.
- Beatrice is a pessimist who wears red and speaks more like a city snob. She prefers things like wine factories, nightclubs and pretentious art museum. And she's a speciesist who looks down on most other animals.
- Bell, Ponce, and Toshi are all these to each other. They're all fire Zodiac signs (Leo/Aries/Sagittarius respectively).
- Bell is an outgoing tomboy where Toshi is a less impulsive and slightly feminine guy.
