In 1976, the Universal World Church put together a "Christmas" special, as presented by Velma Jagger. Attempting to blend Christianity with patriotism, the result was one of the most bizarre programs ever seen. Chock-full of memorable moments, with puppets, a "rain dance", Hawaiian dancers, and many other oddities, it's been labelled a "masterpiece in all things so-bad-that-it's-good" by the Internet Movie Database.
For many years, the program languished in obscurity, but after online critics reviewed it, it saw a surge in popularity.
